Ko te kei o Te Arawa e Ka huri taku aro ki te whenua tapu o Waitahanui E noho ora mai ko Tūtemohuta ki te Paakira e.

Kia ora, ko Waiora tōku ingoa, a proud kaitiaki at Te Pu-a Nga Maara, deeply connected to our taiao and guided by the wisdom of our tūpuna.

Kāore te kumara e kōrero ana mō tōna ake reka. The kumara does not speak of its sweetness. This whakataukī reminds me to stay humble, letting my actions and mahi reflect my commitment to our Taiao and community without needing to boast.

Being true to myself is my superpower. Staying authentic to my values and whakapapa grounds me, allowing me to bring genuine passion and integrity to our mahi every day.

I dream of a Taiao teeming with abundance—kai flourishing for our manu, ika, and communities. My vision is a thriving, balanced ecosystem where all life is nourished and sustained by mātauranga Māori and collective care.

Witnessing the transformation of our Taiao fuels my heart. From observing what it once was to seeing what it is now and imagining what it can become, every change, big or small, inspires me. Being part of this journey of restoration and renewal is a true privilege.
