Kia ora, ko Naumai tōku ingoa, a dedicated kaitiaki at Te Pu-a Nga Maara, driven by a deep connection to our taiao and the strength of our collective spirit.
Ehara ko te toa takitahi, ko te toa takitini. Success is not the work of one, but the work of many. This whakataukī reminds me that our connections and interactions are far more valuable than any individual achievement, guiding me to prioritise whanaungatanga in all I do.
My superpower is encouraging and embracing everyone on my team. I love uplifting those around me and creating a space where we all thrive together, united by our shared kaupapa.
I envision a Taiao overflowing with abundance—kai Māori thriving in our whenua and the sweet symphony of our native manu echoing through the ngāhere. My dream is a vibrant, restored environment, nurtured by mātauranga Māori and collective care.
I cherish being out in the Taiao, surrounded by the whenua and its mauri. The freedom to spot mahi that needs doing and tackle it in my own way fuels me. Every day is a new chance to connect with nature and contribute to our kaupapa in a way that feels authentic to me.
