Deb, known as DW, a passionate Content Coordinator, Media, and Social Media Specialist at Te Pu-a-nga Maara, lives by the whakataukī "Ko ngā pou o tōku oranga, ko te āio aroha," embodying a life guided by peace and love. Her superpower lies in holding space for deep transformation, whether through wānanga, storytelling, or creating safe environments where others can be their authentic selves, moving with intuition and empathy to see the unseen and speak to the mauri of the moment. DW aspires for a future where our people reconnect with the taiao as living reflections of the whenua, moana, wai, hau, and whetu, spiritually and culturally nourished as our tupuna were, ensuring that "ka ora te whenua, ka ora te mokopuna." What she loves most about her mahi is capturing the essence of the presences, bringing the spirit of the taiao and its people to life through her work.
